What you get for your wedding
So you don't have to think about anything on the big day, everything is settled beforehand:
- Personal briefing – we get to know each other, walk through your schedule, your musical preferences and the special moments of your day.
- Song request sheet – you define must-plays and no-gos, I build the thread from there. Live requests from your guests are welcome if they fit the vibe.
- Precise timing for show moments – first dance, cake cut, bouquet toss and guest surprises are accompanied musically to the second.
- Music for the whole day – apéro, dinner and party from one source, without style breaks between phases.
- Own PA system and microphone – also for your best man's and maid of honour's speeches. For larger venues I organise extended equipment.
- Backup equipment – second player, spare mixer, spare microphone. Your celebration never depends on a single device.
From the ceremony to a packed dance floor
A wedding has a dramatic arc – and that takes more than a good playlist. During the apéro I play subtle lounge sound that carries conversations instead of drowning them. At dinner the music gets warmer and more personal, often with songs that tell your story. And once the dance floor opens, I read your guests: from current charts to classics three generations can sing along to, to house late at night.
As an open-format DJ I am not tied to one genre. At weddings that is crucial: your guest list ranges from grandparents to university friends – and everyone should have a moment where the music speaks to them. My benchmark is simple: a full dance floor until the venue turns the lights on.
Multilingual weddings are everyday business for me – I make announcements in German and English and have experience with international couples and guests from different cultures.

Wedding DJ for Zurich and all of Switzerland
Whether a lakeside wedding on Lake Zurich, a barn in the countryside, a rooftop in the city or a mountain wedding in the Alps – I am based in Zurich and bookable across Switzerland as standard. Travel is listed transparently in the offer.
I also regularly play weddings in nearby countries – Germany, Austria, Italy. Couples from Berlin and Cologne have already booked me for their celebrations. Just ask.

Wedding DJ FAQs
What couples most often want to know.
How much does a wedding DJ in Zurich cost?
It depends on playing time, venue and technical requirements – a full-day accompaniment from apéro to party is priced differently from an evening-only set. After the get-to-know call you receive a binding offer, usually within 24 hours.
How early should we book our wedding DJ?
For Saturdays in the May–September high season I recommend 6–9 months lead time – popular dates go early. For weekday or off-season celebrations, shorter notice often works.
Can we bring in our own song requests?
Absolutely – that is the core of the preparation. You receive my structured song request sheet in advance: must-plays, no-gos, style direction. During the celebration, live requests from your guests are welcome if they fit the mood.
Do you also play music for the ceremony and apéro?
Yes. Most couples book me for the whole day: processional and recessional at the ceremony, lounge sound for the apéro, dinner music and party. Everything from one source, with seamless transitions.
What happens if your equipment fails?
There is a double safety net: a second player, spare mixer, spare microphone and extra cables come to every wedding. A full soundcheck runs before the celebration.
Do you also handle announcements and hosting?
Subtle announcements – opening the dance floor, cake cut, bouquet toss – I am happy to do in German or English. I deliberately do not offer full MC hosting: the focus stays on you and the music.
